In this paper we find expression of CB1 cannabinoid receptor in human spinal cord ependyma. CB1 expression is confined to the GFAP areas when central canal is absent (see Garcia-Ovejero et al., Brain 2015), whereas ependymal cells with strong CB1 expression are found if central canal is present, according to what we described in rats and mice in 2013 (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22791629)
